Pittsburgh Is The Place To Live

When you are looking for a city to live to be your home, There are several things to consider. Do you want a city known for it’s nightlife or do you want a city known for it’s education possibilities or a city known for it’s medical properties? Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a city that has it all.

I for one know what it is like to live and grow up in other cities as my fathers job caused us to move every 4 to 5 years. Some of the places were o.k. and some were not. It was not until we moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania that I felt like I was finally home. I thank my lucky stars that Pittsburgh was the last place we moved to. The perfect place to grow up, Raise a family and go to school. Be it high school or post education, This is where I found my career path in the medical field. Pittsburgh was also the place where I found my soul mate. Eric is one of the most decent and easy going person I know and also my best friend.

Pittsburgh has some of the best post education resources in the U.S.A.. Being home to Carnegie Melon, Duquesne University and even Chatham University- Education is at the forefront for people seeking higher education. Students come from around the world to attend these places for their higher education and research grants.

Singles as well as families are flocking to Pittsburgh as we do have it  all. With Pittsburgh being made up of small communities, There is something for everyone to do to either meet people or do the South Side Crawl. Yes, the younger generation still bar hops. If bars are not your thing, Then I would suggest other activities such as bowling, Ice skating or even a cooking class to meet that special someone or just make new friends. You will not find a friendlier city than Pittsburgh. Making friends has always came easy to me as I love learning about people and what makes them tick. I guess you could say that is why I became a Nurse.

One of my personal favorite things I love about Pittsburgh are the medical advances that this region has discovered. Pittsburgh is known for it’s medical hospitals where most hospitals have a specialty. Being a Nurse for 25 years, I have had the pleasure of working in quite a few of them. I really wanted to be a Legal Nurse Consultant working with Pittsburgh medical malpractice lawyers for example. Mistakes happen and I hope you would never need one but if you do, They are here to help. The Nursing field is constantly evolving as there is do much learn. I think learning is in my blood as my father was working on his Doctorate in history when he passed away.

In closing, I hope you will take away some of the positive points that living in Pittsburgh can offer and come and visit our great city to see exactly what I mean.
