I received complimentary tickets for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Can you say that you literally have an amusement park in your back yard? I can say that I was lucky enough to have this. I could walk out my yard and look down the street and see the park. It was not until I was older that I realized just how lucky I was. Kennywood Amusement Park will always hold a special place in my and my families heart as that is where my Mom met my Dad. My Mom and I both worked at the same concession stand- Not at the same time of course and where my church always had their summer picnics- Russian Day.

As I enter the park a feeling of excitement comes over me. Whether it was because of all the memories the park holds for me or that I am about to ride my favorite rides or even all of my favorite foods that are just a fingertip away, I am sure to do it it all! I mean the Noah’s Ark squishy tongue that I member from days of long ago is BACK! Yes, Just what I said because they restored it back to the way it was with even the squishy tongue. The awesome roller coasters are still the same from my favorite-the Thunderbolt, The Racer, The Steel Phantom to the Jack rabbit and even a few more. I love them all! From the Merry-Go-Round to the Train. Then you have to mention kiddy land and the other more normal, thriller, exiting wonderful rides such as the Turtle, Barron’s Curve, Music Express and The Pirate and many more. I was thrilled to see the the wonderful potato patch fries are sold at a few other concession stands throughout the park. The lines could could really get way too long when they were only sold at the original potato path stand. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law to my surprise bought us lunch at Johnny Rockets. Which I must say I had the best Cheeseburger I have ever had. Thank you Lisa and Drew!

I am so very Blessed to have this amazing park in my backyard. I urge you that if you are in Pittsburgh that you visit this park because this will be an awesome time for young and old alike. You can purchase tickets at a discount by clicking HERE. A day at Kennywood is unforgettable!
