We bought our new home December of 2015. It is hard to beleive that it will be a year that we have owned our dream home in a few weeks. I have a ton of medical issues and the humidity plays a big role in how I feel. I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to review the AcuRite Rain Gauge with Indoor/Outdoor Temperature. I know how to keep the indoor temperature and humidity at a optimal range but it is the outside that I need to know what the current readings are.

This could not have been easier to set up and the instructions were very easy to follow. We have soya sod as the grass in our yard. Anyone who knows about soya grass knows that it needs a lot of water to stay a beautiful green color and plush growth. I love our yard as it feels like you are walking on a pillow. How much rain we get plays a big part in how much we need to water the lawn. We pay for water now so this is a big deal for us. With the state of the economy, We need to cut costs every way we can. Up until I received the AcuRite Rain Gauge with Indoor/Outdoor Temperature, I never knew just how much rain we received and now I do. Some of the features I love about the AcuRite Rain Gauge with Indoor/Outdoor Temperature product are:
A programmable rain alarm that alerts you when your preset rainfall amounts are reached, potentially warning you of flood conditions or when to turn off the sprinkler in your lawn or garden.
