If nobody looks like they’re going to be treating you any time soon, just take it upon yourself to treat yourself! Whether you take the below advice or not, you should take some time to reward yourself for all of the hard work that you put into keeping your little world spinning around.

The find some of the best ways to treat yourself, make sure to read on.

Indulge in your hobbies and habits

No matter what your hobbies and habits may be in life, indulging in them is a great way to treat yourself. This is especially true if, for whatever reason, you are not allowed to indulge on them regularly. Whatever indulging means to you — whether it means splashing out on a new Ultimate Juice e-liquid to make your vaping habits more flavorsome or whether it means eating whatever you want whenever you want on a particular day — just do it. You deserve it and, as long as you do not go overboard with your indulging, your life will be bettered as a result of your boosted morale.

Make yourself breakfast in bed

You may strict rules with regards to eating in bed. It doesn’t hurt to break these rules every now and again, though, especially when that entails treating yourself to a spot of breakfast in bed. Why eat your breakfast downstairs while you wait for the heating to warm up the house when you could do so in your already warm, ultra snuggly duvet? Better still, have somebody else make you breakfast in bed. If they question what makes you so deserving of the honor, tell them you don’t need an excuse to be treated every now and again!

Book a day off work

Being a hard worker doesn’t mean that you have to work 365 days a year, you know. It is more than okay for you to book a day or two off from work, even if it’s for no reason at all. It’s even okay to do nothing whatsoever with your day off — if you want to sit in bed all day and watch Disney movies, scroll through your various social media timelines, message or call your friends, or laugh out loud at outrageous YouTube videos, that’s more than okay!

Buy something you’ve always wanted

Retail therapy is a great way to treat yourself, especially when it involves buying something that you’ve always wanted. As long as you don’t send yourself spiraling into debt as a result of your purchase, the world is your oyster in this regard. Whether it’s a new shade of lipstick, a fresh pair of socks, a new TV, or even a new home — if you can afford what your heart most desires, go out and there and buy it.

Everybody deserves a treat every now and again, and that includes you. Don’t let worries about what other people may do or say or think stop you — if you feel you are in dire need of a treat, reward yourself with it.

I treat myself with a massage every other week. It’s so good for me.

I have to be honest, I love an hour or two of solitude, with just me and my thoughts.

I’m a retired nurse now, but before I retired I always took my birthday off and treated myself. I’d save up all year long (about $500) and head to the spa, dine at MY favorite place (& stay as long as I please), or spend the entire day in bed.
One birthday I splurged and got a tattoo. Another birthday, I spent at the casino, playing nickel slots, drinking Rum n’ Coke’s.
Bottom line is we are all individuals; and though we might also be wives and/or moms, we still deserve some time to be and the individual person that we are inside.

I love doing this, although sometimes I feel selfish when I treat myself, I have to remind myself that I have earned some reward points, I usually spend the little bit of money I have on my nine and growing grandchildren, so treating myself is extremely hard, but I know I to deserve a cup cake ..

I feel guilty when I do stuff for myself! I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I can’t help it! I used to play Bingo to get out of the house and to do something with my friends that doesn’t require a lot of physical activity. Since I became disabled and now a senior citizen. I get tired of going to the movies all the time. Lately I’ve been falling asleep during them anyway. These are great ideas and I realize that I should capitalize on a couple of them, because life is too short! Thank you for sharing and caring!

Alkways good to set aside to care for yourself. Offer a nice hobby as a distraction. Works well to clear the mind
