The best vacation I ever went on was a long 3-week road trip with my husband across the Southwest and into California. We took the trip in December and everywhere we went, there were wonderdul holiday decorations. We also made no reservations ahead of time and let the weather and our whim dictate where we went next. Well, my dream vacation IS the last vacation I went on! After my divorce, I just needed to get away. I had some extra money at the time, so I took myself to Hawaii. It was the most peaceful place I have ever been to! I wish I could go back. I knew at the time that I would probably never be able to go again, so I decided to just do it!!!

I once got to spend five glorious weeks in Hawaii. I think it would be hard to top that.
