Thankfully I am not in school and I have no children in school, so I use back to school shopping (especially the tax free holiday) to stock up on office supplies and crafting supplies. My husband has his own business and we always need various office supplies.

I don’t actually have children, so I don’t have to worry about back to school stuff. However, a tip would be to stock up on school supplies throughout the year. If there’s a sale on items that your child will always need and it’s a great deal, buy it and save it for later.

Yesterday was the first day of school. Both kids came home with a list of items they needed for school, so last night we hit the store and purchased the items for the youngest. After school is over today, the older child will have his complete school list and he will run from store to store to get what he needs.

I get emails from my favorite local stores. This enables me to take advantage of the best deals and items that don’t fit, etc. can be easily returned at the store. I also do internet shopping blog searches for great deals (for example, the Totally Target blog will let me know of any great deals going on at Target. Most stores will be covered in this way. Don’t forget to clip all virtual coupons for your favorite stores.

I get teachers lists..grab ap and iPad, coupons, ads ans spend a day shopping..I try to get it done in two days.

Before we go back to school shopping, we always check to see what we already have in our storage bin so we do not rebuy things we have.

I like to tackle back to school shopping by buying clearanced out school supplies at the end of the sales. I like to see what they can use from these items and buy the rest when it is on sale.

I check ads weekly for best deals..actually all year long and stock up when great deals can be had..it works and saves so much.
Even for home office supplies
