My plans for the fall are to heal and get my life back on track. I have been homebound for a year, since August 11, 2016. In this past year I had 2 major back surgeries, pneumonia, sepsis, a back infection, and some serious depression. I am now getting out of the house without walker or cane. I finally see the end in site and am feeling blessed. Fall is my favorite time of year and I will be able to get out and enjoy the change in colors and the cool weather, instead of watching from the window by my chair.

I started planning for the holidays about June. I can’t afford much in any year, so I start saving things up as soon as I can, about mid year. I save them up for the end of the year when the holidays come. I want to be able to provide things for the kids in the family, as they don’t understand why they don’t get presents. They are too young still. Perhaps as they get older I’ll be able to explain things better, but right now, I’ll do what I can to provide them gifts
