I really, really love the holiday season… but it’s become somewhat bittersweet in recent years, with various changes in my life.
I’ll always love this season, though. I love it when I just feel the holiday spirit- and I’m doing something like working on a handmade gift, listening to my favorite holiday music, or baking a favorite recipe.
I dislike the drama that is often present during the holiday season. I’m hoping this year is different and that my kids and husband all get along!!
I dislike the commercialism. The holidays seem to be celebrated earlier every year.
I love the excitement my children have for the holidays and I love seeing extended family. I hate all the traffic and the pressure to find the perfect gifts for everyone.
One thing I dislike is that there is so much pressure around us, to spend money on absolutely everything!
I love how the whole family gets to spend time together during the holidays!
I love that I get to see all of my family at one time..I dislike all the dishes and cleaning after lol.
I love the atmosphere of holidays and dislike the crowds and traffic while traveling.
I really like the parties — now that we’re getting older, the holidays is about the only time of year that I see some of my relatives. I dislike all of the work involved, but it’s worth it.
I dislike all the Christmas items for sale and on display the day after Halloween. Can’t we wait until after Thanksgiving to start thinking about Christmas?
I love watching the Macy parade as mom, grandma and I cook dinner for everyone
Am I the only one entering..I hope so..haha..I may after years win something!mlol
I don’t like how early Christmas starts..hate it..before thanksgiving
I love spending time with friends and family and figuring out the perfect gift for someone.
Spending time with family & friends & even maybe making new friends while relaxing around watching holiday movies.
I always loved the holidays as a child and then seeing my son get so excited about the holidays when he was young and as he grew up. The holidays have become a sad time because our family gets smaller and smaller and I miss the ones that aren’t here any longer and worry that my grown son will end up all alone during the holidays once I am gone. I still love the Christmas season and the true meaning of Christmas. I look forward to my son getting married (maybe one day) and having his own children (my grandchildren). I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
My favorite part of the holidays is spending time with Family and loved ones.
after our dinner we take a family walk
if we are in nc its up the mountain to the waterfall.
if in florida..the beach
I love being able to see extended family but hate all the cooking and cleaning.
I make special Holiday Music CDs to give to Friends and Family, I like to see/hear their reaction to the music selection
I used to LOVE the holidays – the most wonderfuk memories. But now my family has all passed away (mom just last year) and I am shaking and depressed.
I like when our family gets together and all of the good food we have.
I love our tradition of getting several generations of family and friends to bake cookies..then share
I like all the time celebrating with family…and the great food doesn’t hurt! Thank you for the chance to win!
I love spending extra time and having fun with my family and friends.
we love the holidays..all of them.
in general its a time of faith or patriotism..food, family, fun
traditions above all..serving and helping others.
What I dislike is the clean up after the holiday get togethers, but what I love the most is the fact that we still do get together lol. Spending time with family is the most important part of the holidays to me.
I love everything..we are very traditional and southern..which means there are many.
least favorite is the mountains of dirty dishes to do up..haha..for real though…we don’t use paper plates
I LOVE having extra time off from work too. Nice to hang out more with friends and family.
