I don’t know if it was that wacky but when I was a kid I remember one Christmas getting an umbrella, gloves, and hat set….and that was it. I was 10.
I remember as a teenager I received the ugliest chiffon pink dress with a huge bow on the front from my grandmother. I really did not like this at all but I never did tell her that

Years ago I received a macrame plant holder with little plastic animals woven into it. It was ugly and quite strange!
I received a vase once from my mother in law…and I’m allergic to flowers.

The weirdest gift I have ever received was…I hate to even put this on here! I feel terrible about it. My sister makes gifts because she doesn’t have money, and honestly, she is really creative and she makes awesome things! However, this gift was…let’s just say not her best work! haha Happy Holidays everyone!

I got theater tickets once for Christmas, which wasn’t wacky, but I was kind of annoyed because it meant I had to go to see a play I wasn’t interested in seeing.
When I was almost 9 months pregnant my EX husband got me a stepladder to wash windows outside. THAT is why he’s my EX husband. ha.
Shoes with some type of strap that would fall off all the time.

Tickets to a comedy show was an unusual gift…but I enjoyed it.

I had asked for a crockpot one year, and my mom gives me a gift, that had been open and when I pulled it out of box, it was the crock pot from when we were kids! I told her I knew, and she denied it.
I cannot think of one that I got, but I can think of one I got my husband. I thought I was being super cool wife who knew about his hobbies and got him what I thought was a standard gun cleaning kit.
