This year we are staying home for Thanksgiving. I am hoping my mom will be able to spend Thanksgiving with us but she is over 4 hours away and is planning to spend Christmas to New Years here.
our children and grandkids will come to our home for thanksgiving. I’ll do the turkey the rest will be potluck
We have a very traditional Thanksgiving with family and a few friends at my mother’s house. It is a very special day for me, since it is the house where I grew up and I love that my children get to celebrate it the same way I did when I was their age!
We host thanksgiving at our house so it is a lot of cooking and baking that day!
For Thanksgiving we will probably go over to my parents house for a meal.
Our Thanksgiving is a quiet one. We hang out at home, watch movies and play games.
We usually travel to my mother’s in NY and have dinner with the rest of the family.
We make dinner together & watch the football games.
We try to have a great meal and spend as much time with family as possible.
I cook and clean, family comes over and eats dinner. I look at all the sale ads after dinner.

I am going to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving
We are usually driving between my mother in laws home and my moms in order to visit with both families!
All the extended family comes to my moms house and we have a big feast.
My family has dinner, give thanks, and spend lots of time together.
I have friends and family over for dinner and everyone brings a side dish or dessert. I make a turkey and a ham.

Well we usually have Thanksgiving at my house but this year we are going to Florida. My husband’s parents are needing a new roof so we are going for Thanksgiving and work.

Sometimes I fix a big dinner for my extended family but this year they are going to in-law’s so I’m only making desserts and taking them to a friends for dinner.

whether we travel home for thanksgiving varies from year to year, but we always enjoy a nice meal, wear silly hats, play games, and have ‘a christmas story’ on in the background 😀 all.day.long. i love it and it drives my husband nuts.

Typically, we celebrate with my mom and my sisters’ families, but this year there has been a change. We are having friends over who would otherwise be celebrating alone.
Now that my daughters are grown ups, we rotate Thanksgiving dinners. We all cook a bit, but the main dishes are done by the hostess. We all get together in a prayer circle and each give our thanks out loud for the things we’re truly thankful for. We eat, talk, laugh, and play Christmas music. It’s always a wonderful day for us all to love on each other.
I cook a turkey every year but end up freezing a lot of leftovers.

Normally our whole family would go to my mom’s for Thanksgiving but this year they are all coming to my house because my 11 year old is having surgery a few days before and will not be able to travel.

This year we are celebrating Thanksgiving at my grandmother’s house with a delicious turkey feast. I am celebrating with my mom, aunt, grandma, boyfriend, his mother, brother, sister-in-law, and my nephew.

We always go to my parents house. All the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids come…so fun to see everyone! We always have turkey dinner and play some board games!
I do make a small, basic Thanksgiving dinner every year. My youngest lives too far to come home (she does come home for Christmas). My oldest lives not far from us, so she’ll be coming for dinner, and my middle daughter still lives at home, and her boyfriend will be joining us. We’ve had some sad things happen around Thanksgiving, so it’s been hard for me to really get into the spirit of it over the past few years. I do look forward to seeing my oldest daughter for the day. We typically go to my sister’s house in Wisconsin at Christmas, but this year she won’t be home, so I’ll be driving there on the Saturday after Thanksgiving – with daughters #1 and 2, and #2’s boyfriend. I just wish my youngest would be there.

I come from a large family so every holiday, all my brothers and sisters, unite under one room to celebrate the holiday. I am making seafood au gratin (7 casserole dishes) for a party of 136 people (includes nieces, nephews, cousins, and so on).
We count our Blessings and everyone at the table shares something they’re thankful for! Then we chow down to a delicious Thanksgiving dinner 🙂

As far as I know, we aren’t doing anything on Thanksgiving. Sometimes, we go to my DIL’s family’s for dinner but that depends on whether she has to work or not.
I typically just make a basic Thanksgiving meal at home every year. My youngest lives too far away to get home (she’ll be home for Christmas), so it will be daughters #1 and #2 and #2’s boyfriend. That Saturday we’ll all be driving to my sister’s house for the day (she lives about 3 hours away).
