      I know all of my Pittsburgh readers or my readers that live within shopping distance to a Giant Eagle are going to go bananas over this. When you get to be my age, You find the stores that you love and then there are the stores that are just o.k. You are probably thinking where is she going with this- Just wait and this will all pull together in the end.

     Almost my entire immediate family has passed on but I do have awesome memories of growing up. I think the most wonderful memory I have is those of Easter and I think that is why is has always been my favorite Holiday of all of them. My most memorable memory I have is that of my Mom hiding my Easter basket on Easter morning. She would  hide it behind a chair or under a table with a towel covering it. It was not your normal Easter basket filled with chocolate but rather those plastic eggs filled with such items as gift cards, gift certificates and such. There was also chocolate in it. She was not that cruel to exclude my chocolate.

     My Mom was also an excellent cook. Now, I am sure most everyone says their Mom is an excellent cook but m Mom was a self taught chef. My Mom was the kind of Mom that always hosted family dinners and boy did she out do herself. Every item was filled with complex flavor that was like no other. We were not very well off but she prided herself on being able to know the right grocery stores to shop at that had the biggest savings. This is where I come in to tell you about this awesome deal on gift cards when purchased at Giant Eagle.

     Starting April 6th, When you purchase $50 in gift cards at Giant Eagle, You get 20 cents off for fuelperks for every $50 in gift cards you purchase. This is win win in my opinion.
