I really, really love the holiday season… but it’s become somewhat bittersweet in recent years, with various changes in my life.
I’ll always love this season, though. I love it when I just feel the holiday spirit- and I’m doing something like working on a handmade gift, listening to my favorite holiday music, or baking a favorite recipe.
Melissa says

Deborah Caudill says
I always loved the holidays as a child and then seeing my son get so excited about the holidays when he was young and as he grew up. The holidays have become a sad time because our family gets smaller and smaller and I miss the ones that aren’t here any longer and worry that my grown son will end up all alone during the holidays once I am gone. I still love the Christmas season and the true meaning of Christmas. I look forward to my son getting married (maybe one day) and having his own children (my grandchildren). I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
