I tackle back to school shopping by comparing ads to find the best sale prices!
We get our school supply lists at the end of each year and pick up an item or two from it each week all summer long. It definitely makes life easier for me and less of a hit to the pocket all at once.
I actually tackle my back to school shopping by buying extra supplies from the years before and going to dollar stores and using coupons,I shop around for they best deals.
Thankfully I am not in school and I have no children in school, so I use back to school shopping (especially the tax free holiday) to stock up on office supplies and crafting supplies. My husband has his own business and we always need various office supplies.
Coupons and previous years clearances!! I do as much as I can with as deep a discount as possible.
For items I know my kids will need the following year I buy what I can at end of season clearance sales. So we don’t have a huge list of needed items at the beginning of school year.
I like to start back to school shopping as early as possible and slowly buy things that are on sale. I use a lot of coupons!

My secret to back-to-school shopping? Two words: Dollar Tree.
I tackle back to school shopping in spurts! I do a good bit of shopping when I find good deals and after school has already started. We homeschool, so I can afford to wait until things start getting marked down.
We start early with all the good sales.
We hit the tax free sales. We can usually find great sales on clothes and supplies.
I don’t actually have children, so I don’t have to worry about back to school stuff. However, a tip would be to stock up on school supplies throughout the year. If there’s a sale on items that your child will always need and it’s a great deal, buy it and save it for later.
When I use to go shopping for school with my Son,I’d do it early and not waste last minute! You could find what you needed and wanted and in those days I used to put stuff on lay away!
I wait until I have a supply list.
I look for sales that match what we need. It’s the perfect time to stock up!
Well, I don’t really know how to answer this one because I procrastinated till the last minute to shop and it was ugly!..so maybe, stay organized and shop at a one stop store.

My back to school shopping tip is to make a list of everything we need and set a dollar limit before beginning to shopping. Then stick to it.
We break it up into separate shopping trips. One weekend for supplies, another for clothes then buy new shoes just before the first day.
My wife doesn’t wait till the last minute to buy supplies. She will purchase items though out the year.

Yesterday was the first day of school. Both kids came home with a list of items they needed for school, so last night we hit the store and purchased the items for the youngest. After school is over today, the older child will have his complete school list and he will run from store to store to get what he needs.
Lists!! Stick to them and shop early to avoid crowds.
I wait till the week of school with supply list in hand and shop dollar tree for everything.

Well, I was the one with any sort of back to school shopping… and I graduated last January, so not necessary anymore. 🙂 Needed to get very little anyway – and nothing you could really do about any required but super outrageously priced textbooks.
