What is your favorite childhood pastime that you remember the most. Well, Mine was dunking cookies in milk which carried over to my adulthood. Yes, I still do it even today. There is something comforting about the idea of milk and cookies. Even better is cookies dunked in milk. I beleive this is one of the first things I taught my kids. I wish Dunky Cups had been around when I was teaching my kids about this. It would of been much less messy.

My Review/Thoughts~

I do not think there is any greater satisfaction than spending time with your kids and teaching them a pastime you loved as a child. Like I said earlier, I still dunk my cookies in milk. The first time I showed them how, The littler kids had the milk everywhere as I did not have the right glass. If only I had a dunky cup. This would solve all my problems. This would make the perfect holiday gift for any child on your gift list and you know it is super affordable because it is for sell on amazon.

I give the Dunky Cup my thumbs up and my sell of approval as well as my kids approval.

Cookies by Design, a woman owned business, was founded in 1983 by Gwen Willhite. Gwen had the idea of making a gift suitable for not only women, but men as well; a gift that he would be excited to receive at his workplace. So she combined two traditional gifts of flowers and sweets and created a deliciously clever concept: the cookie bouquet. Her edible bouquets of custom-shaped and hand-decorated sugar and cinnamon brown sugar cookies on sticks were cleverly arranged in baskets as tasteful gifts for any holiday or occasion. These impressive gifts were instant hits among men and women alike especially because the product tasted as good as it looked and Gwen’s budding enterprise soon outgrew her own home kitchen.
The newly successful entrepreneur moved to a location in nearby, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Then in 1986 when things really picked up, Gwen moved her business to Dallas, Texas. After the Dallas business was established, Gwen turned her attention to the numerous requests from others wishing to start their own Cookie Bouquet franchise. The first franchised Cookie Bouquet location opened in 1987 and the momentum has been growing ever since. My Reviews/Thoughts~

Who doesn’t love to receive a gift of food especially if they are cookies. I know in my home that is our favorite thing to receive. Everyone loves a good cookie and you are not being honest if you say you don’t. I was so very happy that I found Cookies By Design as I received a beautiful Christmas Basket and a Christmas Cookie Tray. Along with Christmas cookies in the basket were gourmet cookies that I of course taste tested each and every one of them. No judging please. They were the best. In the Christmas Cookie Tray were Holiday shapes such as candy canes, Christmas trees, snowmen and ginger bread men. They are so very helpful. You owe it to yourself and your gift recipient to send them something delicious and that is something from Cookies By Design.

About The Product~

There’s something comforting about dunking a cookie in milk. It’s an indulgence that takes something sweet and delicious and turns it into something even better. As a child, my first experience with cookies and milk involved vanilla wafers. Grandma would give us these as a snack, but I remember thinking they were a little on the dry side. That’s when grandpa introduced me to dunking and I was immediately in cookie heaven. Later I would branch out to other cookies such as Oreos, which eventually became my favorite.
Founded in 2016, Dunky Cup was spawned from these fond childhood memories and the founder’s love for engineering and Oreos. While sitting on the couch, munching on some Oreos and milk, there was a moment of inspiration to “ditch the plate.” After all, the crumbs like to slide off anyhow; why not bring them together? At this point, the idea and design began to evolve. It was pen to paper, mouse to mousepad, sketching various ideas until Dunky Cup was born.
Since 2016 we’ve continually improved the product which you’ll find is super-durable, dishwasher safe, and made from high-quality food-safe plastic. Unlike other plastic products, Dunky Cup has weight and strength, giving it the feel of a high-quality ceramic mug.

My Thoughts/Review~

I agree with the above that there is something comforting about dunking a cookie in milk. I think it all comes down to childhood memories. When I took the Dunky Cup out of the package, I could not wait to show my kids what dunking a cookie in milk was all about. I know they were sold on the concept with that first dunk. The smiles and giggling from my kids put a smile on my face in that my kids are actually getting enjoyment from childhood activities that I did as a child. I’ll tell you a secret- I still dunk a cookie in milk.

How do you decorate your baked goods? I took a cake decorating class when I was in my teens…So what 40 years ago? I failed miserably. Ever we bought our home, I have taken over the love of baking that my Mom would have done when she was a live.

This is a fun company making this product to help make decorating your confections so much easier with step by step how to’s and giving you the tools you need to do this.

I love decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies but I will be the first ti admit that I am terrible at it. This was the best product I could of ever received. It walked you through every step of the way. The downloadable book that came with it taught you just what to do and how to do it. The FUNCAKE 30 in 1 Icing Decorating Kit came with 2 piping bags, 24 tips, a cute storage case and a downloadable instruction book. I cannot tell you enough that if you want to learn how to decorate your confections that this is the product you need to do just that.
