Seed Starter Tray #Review

Reviews · March 28, 2019

review came about. I received the below mentioned complimentary product either for free or a discounted price for the purpose of this post. All opinions and thoughts are 100% my own.

Now that we own our own home, The major thing I am super excited about is planting my garden. Sure you can plant one if you rent but it’s not the same. I was thrilled when the Seed Starter Trays came about. Starting seeds indoors to get seedlings to plant just makes sense.

About The Product~

  • ECO-FRIENDLY – Our Peat Pots are made from all natural and 100% biodegradable peat. NatraPots plant trays were designed to break down over time helping to prevent harmful waste to our environment but allowing your seeds to fully germinate.
  • PREVENT TRANSPLANT SHOCK – By allowing the roots to grow directly into the pots themselves, our nursery pots help prevent plant shock caused by transplantation giving your seeds stronger, healthier roots.
  • IDEAL FOR SAPLINGS AND STARTERS – We designed our pots to be the perfect size and structure for plant germination allowing for proper aeration; making NatraPots the perfect plant tray for any flower, fruit, or vegetable!
  • DURABILITY – We designed our seed starter pots with our customer’s concerns in mind! Our pots are resilient enough to hold together when watering your seeds yet the peat fibers are specially woven to allow seeds to properly germinate.
  • REUSABLE PLASTIC MARKERS – Each pack includes 12 reusable plastic markers so you can easily label each individual peat pellet. Simply use any standard dry erase marker to label them and easily wash with soap and water.

My Review/Thoughts~

It just makes sense to start your seeds inside because you do not have to wait for the germination time as you would already have your seedlings. I love everything about these trays. There also is nothing to dislike. These are perfect. When it comes to the Seed Starter Trays, I will buy them next year and do this again.

I give the Seed Starter Tray my thumbs up and my highest recommendation.

My Thoughts/Review~

I was thrilled to be able to start to plant these. I started them in peat pods inside my house. I cannot plant them in the ground unit Middle of May but this way works for me. I bought a growing light which I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. Now I am all set to grow my Organic Herb Seeds. When I thought of planting, I thought of only vegetables like tomatoes or peppers. Now I can have fresh herbs also. How asesome is that and they are going to be organic also.

I cannot wait to add these herbs to my dishes to make them more flavorful. I give the Organic Herb Seeds my thumbs up and my highest recommendation.

It’s Time To Give Your Property Some Character

Reviews · August 7, 2018

There’s more to creating the perfect home than contemporary design. The aesthetic of your house matters, of course, but modernity isn’t enough. When you move into a brand new home, for instance, it can feel a little sterile and devoid of any personality. It might look shiny and impressive, but it’s missing that sense of character which makes a house feel warm and welcoming. The same goes for a home that’s become old and neglected. It might be a cozy place that’s full of memories, but clutter and a worn-out aesthetic have both made your house lose its comfort factor. It’s time to give your property some character, whether it’s old or brand new.

Prioritise homeliness.

The first step to giving your property some character is to prioritise homeliness. You should feel relaxed and happy in your own home. In fact, it should be the one place in the world that always feel comfortable. You (and your family) have complete control over the way your house looks and feels, so you need to utilize that opportunity. Start with the living room. This is a space that should feel warm and homely. You might want to check out flooring at carpetone.com.au for carpet options that are both cozy and stylish. Every small detail makes a difference when it comes to making your house feel vibrant and inviting.

In terms of aesthetic, you could even create some handmade art pieces with your family to hang on the walls of each room in your house. This was suggested over at housebeautiful.com. Once you start to personalize the design of your home, it’ll really start to gain some character. After all, interior design is much more striking when it feels unique and specific to the house in question. Don’t just fill your home with the typical furnishings and paintings that you’d find in a standard showhome. Get creative with your house’s design. Make it specific to your tastes and preferences. That’s how it’ll start to feel homely; its character should reflect your character.

Use nature in your interior design.

Another way to give your property some character is to use nature in your interior design. Manmade design can be extravagant and unique, but it works best when combined with the beauty of natural design. As we’ve suggested before, you might want to use plants to really lift the aesthetic of your house. Some flowers and plants in each room of the house could really give the place some character; it’ll make your home look brighter and more appealing. It’ll lift your mood whenever you walk into a room. Plus, plants freshen the air, so they’ll make you feel better as the result of more than just their appearance.

Make your garden bright and beautiful.

Your garden can really add some character to your property too. You should plant some new flowerbeds and maybe even create a pond in the center of the garden as a nice focal point. As mentioned over at viralnova.com, you can also reinvent your garden by finding new uses for things such as neglected tree stumps; you could grow flowers on it. The same goes for the old watering can that’s been sitting on the patio for months or the wheelbarrow gathering dust in the garage. Nature, as mentioned in the previous point, can do wonders to add some character to your garden. Go beyond simply mowing the lawn – make this space into a captivating outdoor paradise. When you’re “giving your property some character” this is not just inside your house, this is also your garden. Decorating your garden to be a bit more modern is becoming very popular, something like these corner sheds, would be a great investment.

Keeping Up With The Jones’s? Here’s How To Outdo The Jones’s!

Neighbourhood rivalries are often very silly, and will always be mocked. Why compete when you can come together as a community? However, if everyone admitted it to themselves, they would say that they secretly practice it, in small ways. The most obvious example is Christmas. Many streets seem to wish to outdo one another in order to appear the most curated home, the most beautiful with the most gorgeous decorations. Some houses decide to go overboard, and these aren’t hard to spot.

However, is there some utility in the idea of ‘keeping up with the Joneses?’ Could it actually help you? Of course, when it’s tongue in cheek. Real life decoration battles are silly and odd to invest your time into. However, there’s no shame in wanting to live in the most beautiful house of your street. To do that, and to enable these silly but ultimately rewarding feeling, consider these tips to help your home stand out above all:

Curb Appeal

The curb appeal of your property really matters. This is the first impression that anyone walking past will see, but more importantly it’s the first impression you will see when first coming upon the house. This is why it is so essential for you to make this look the way you most desire. A great way to do this is to consider the lead up garden to your front door.

Is it well maintained? Are the bushes well trimmed and parallel with one another, or chaotic and artsy? Is your garden path well maintained or cracked and in need of repair? How does this area look at night? Dark, or with beautiful luminescent lamps slowly lighting the way? Making your home look inviting with the use of light, colour and texture can help you not only have the most beautiful and curated garden space of your street, but it will actually increase your property value to a degree you might not have imagined.

Garden Features

Back garden features can be everything to a beautiful green space. It might be that implementing plenty of new garden features could be quite pricey, such as replacing garden furniture, rectifying a shed, opting for higher quality fencing among many other considerations to make. For this reason it might be worth sustaining an operational budget, or gaining items on credit for now while in the effort to improve credit scores.

This might mean making your garden more lively by purchasing items for your children, or many other artsy features that help you get out into the green space and working with your creative ambition. A back garden is best when it’s alive and lived in during the day.

Window Arches

Windows arches say plenty about your home and how it should be viewed. Are they well maintained or is the paint chipped? Is the pain all one theme or multiple? Does the design fit with your front, back or side doors? Consider repainting, replacing or repairing window arches, as they are often the first telltale sign of a property that is less than well maintained.

With these simple tips, outdoing the Joneses will become a matter of hobby, so that you needn’t worry about the entire affair again. You’ll be too busy enjoying your beautiful home for that.

If your garden Is looking a little dull – try these quick colourful tips!

Reviews · July 19, 2018

Summer is here! But is your garden looking a little, boring? If you’re planning on hosting a few BBQ’s this summer or looking forward to enjoying those long evenings with a glass of something cold and with someone you love, then your garden or outdoor space needs to look the part too!

Read on for some handy tips and ideas of how your garden can burst with colour, just in time for the summer holidays.

Plants & trees

The obvious solution! But having a garden that’s filled with beautiful blooms and striking colours will really make your garden the place to be this summer. We’re thinking Crape Myrtle Trees from The Tree Center, or tubs filled with gorgeous sunflowers that reach up toward the sunshine. Delicately scented roses in varying shades of pink, red and cream and some beautiful honeysuckle to enjoy during the summer evenings. If digging in the ground and planting isn’t your thing, or if you’re renting and don’t want to invest too much of your time or money, then consider filling up some pots with bright flowers instead. Place them around the patio and on either side of your front door – you’re welcoming summer in! And you can take them with you if you plan to move again.

Try not to neglect your grass either! Your garden will look incredible with a deep green, lush looking lawn. Just perfect for sunbathing on and for sitting and eating all those burgers, fresh off the BBQ.

Your garden accessories

If plants aren’t your thing, or the maintenance is putting you off, then don’t worry. You can always add a splash of colour in other ways. You can brighten the mood on your patio with some brightly coloured cushions and throws on the patio furniture. Add some matching candles or tea lights in colourful tealight holders, even your outdoor cups, plates and cutlery can all add a little bit of much needed colour. Ornaments and striking, modern garden furniture are also easy ways to accomplish your colour mission.

Painting

Painting a wall, a bright, bold colour is a quick and instant way to give your outdoor space a lift. It can be done well within an afternoon and you could even get the kids involved and make it a fun summer project that everyone can enjoy! If you’re feeling super adventurous then you could also try and incorporate some decorative tiles.

Your garden furniture

Its been a long winter, and your garden furniture might be looking a little worse for wear. If that’s the case then why not upcycle it? Painting your tired old garden furniture will not only save you money but it’s also an easy way to bring a splash of colour to your patio!

Pots and planters

You’re going to need somewhere to put all those pretty and colourful flowers you’ve chosen, right? You can head to your local plant nursery and pick up some brightly coloured plant pots, or paint the ones you already have!
