Quick And Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Recipes · May 16, 2023

This is a recipe that I found and decided to try. You know that feeling when you find that perfect sauce and thing “Oh wow I found a gold mine”. I did!!! The sauce/marinade in this recipe is so user friendly and forgive giving that I want to bottle this and sell it. Maybe in another life but that is just how awesome this sauce/marinade in this recipe is.

I do not do the cooking in my house as my husband does it so much better than I would. I make a couple dishes but this week, I did all the cooking and I must say they were dilish!!!  Enough of my babbling. Let’s get to the recipe~

Ingredients~

1/3 cup Honey

1/4 Soy Sauce

2 Garlic Cloves Minced {Or 1 teaspoon jarred minced garlic}

1 lb Medium Uncooked Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined

2 teaspoons Olive Oil

Instructions~

Whisk or stir honey, soy sauce and garlic together in a bowl .

Place shrimp in a large zip lock bag with half the marinade. Seal and shake the bag to make sure the marinade coats all the shrimp and refrigerate for 15 minutes to or up to 8 hours. We do 15 to 30 minutes as that is enough time for us to make the rice and or veggie. I use white rice but you can use what ever you and your family like. You can also use low sodium items if you are worried about the salt intake. Like I said very user friendly recipe.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. I tried high heat but it splattered all over my arms. So not a great idea. Add shrimp and cook the shrimp on one side for about 45 seconds until pick and then flip the shrimp over. Add the rest of the marinade and continue to cook until the shrimp is cooked through about 3 minutes. as you continue to cook the shrimp the sauce will reduce. Some people complain that the sauce is to watery but I do not think so.

Serve the shrimp over rice and garnish as as you like. Some readers will add 1 teaspoon cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce but we did not.

Enjoy! I hope you love ethics dish as much as we do! Please comment below and let me know how you did and what you liked about this recipe and what you did not like about it.

The magic of mushrooms has been prevalent among us for a long time now. The effects of mushrooms have left everyone intrigued & trying it at least once in their life, so what better way than making your whole mushroom experience all the more delicious & flavorful. You can also eat the mushrooms as it is, but it might leave a bitter taste, which might linger on for quite some time, which many people dislike.

With time, there has been a massive upgrade in the way & forms in which these special naturally occurring psychedelic mushrooms are consumed or taken. Many recipes have brewed all around the world to make the consumption of mushrooms is as tasteful & flavourful as possible. Some recipes are so great & straightforward that you can make them yourself in your kitchen with the most basic of ingredients.

Not many people can taste the rare & earthy magic mushrooms right on their tongue palate. Also, proper care & caution needs to be taken about the grams of mushrooms used. For beginners & newbies, 1-2 grams of mushrooms is enough to give them a mild psychedelic hit. At most the amount of mushrooms should not be more than 3.5 grams.

Before moving forward and getting on the recipe, make sure you are aware of the various doses & grams which will help you ensure you don’t go on a bad trip. One of the best & tasty ways to intake mushrooms is through chocolates. The recipe of a chocolate bar enriched with magic mushrooms has mushroom chocolate effects which are enough to get you going. It will be one of the most fantastic psychedelic hits of your life. There are also many variations in the recipe of chocolate items you can try with your magic mushrooms. Making your mushroom chocolate bar is one of the most popular ways of intake.

Easiest Recipe for Chocolate Mushroom Bar

One of the quickest & the most straightforward recipes which you can make with magic mushrooms is the chocolate mushroom bar. All you need the essential ingredients to ensure you have the best time. The first thing you need to figure out is what kind of chocolate would quench the thirst of your tongue palette once you are done with it all, just a comfortable breeze. You will require 3.5 grams of magic mushrooms to ensure the recipe hits the perfect mark. Heat some water in a pan & place a glass bowl for the chocolate to melt in it. When the water is simmering add the cut pieces of the chocolates in the bowl to melt it properly. Meanwhile, chop the magic mushrooms & put them in the bowl when the chocolate is all melted & good, for beginners alter the quantity of the mushrooms used in the recipe to 1-2 grams. You can also add raisins & nuts of your choice in it if you want. After it is done take the glass bowl out & let it cool down & then put it in a chocolate mould in the fridge to set & voila you are all good to go.

Magic mushrooms can quickly add to any chocolate recipe you have in mind, make sure to use the right dosage of mushrooms for any recipe you are willing to try. The proper dosage engulfed in the rich & delicious chocolate could be the best possible way to try magic mushrooms for the very first time.

Avoid Cooking Your Way through Christmas Day with These Recipes

Reviews · December 6, 2017

While Christmas is always on everyone’s list of favorite days in the year, there are some of us who also fear this one day because of the toll it takes on our already tired bodies. We’ve just spent the better part of a month shopping for gifts, attending annual Christmas parties, going to the kids’ pageants and plays and baking all those cookies that are gifts for neighbors, friends and family. If you are looking for Homestyle Cooking Tips and Resources, Then Check out Village Bakery.

By the time Christmas day rolls around, you feel like doing anything but cooking. For just once you’d like to greet your guests at the door, sit for a minute with a cocktail and enjoy the company that you’ve almost come to dread. Do you want some advice? The best thing you can do for yourself, and your family, is to find something to serve so that you won’t be slaving away in the kitchen while everyone else is having fun. Avoid the stress of cooking your way through Christmas day.

Foods You Can Cook in Advance

One of the thing which will help immensely is to find main dishes you can cook in advance. For example, oven roasted turkey breast can be cooked to perfection the day before with a recipe found on Pocket Change Gourmet, and set out in a slow cooker a few hours prior to your guests arriving. With juices from the turkey it will be kept moist, but you won’t need to deal with cooking and basting all morning long.

Also, who said you have to stuff a turkey? Why not prepare a pan of dressing (same thing, just not cooked in the turkey!) the day before which can be set in an oven on a low temperature along with rolls, casseroles and pies, also prepared the day before.

Cold Platters Are Also Acceptable

While a hot meal is nice, some families have gone to setting out cold platters with an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses with some amazingly delicious gourmet rolls and breads. For those who want hot foods, everything is right there on the buffet in slow cookers, but for those who simply want a snack while visiting, cold cuts and wraps are perfect. With chips and dips, deviled eggs, olives, pickles and a veggie plate, what could be better?

Have a Very Merry Pot Luck Christmas

Sometimes large families feud over where they want to have Christmas. Each family wants to host the gathering, but unfortunately, you can only eat so many Christmas dinners. Why not host a pot luck Christmas dinner so that each family can bring something scrumptious that they would like to share with the entire clan? The only thing this will take is a bit of organization to make sure some items aren’t duplicated while others are sorely missing. Even so, it’s a great way to stay out of the kitchen on Christmas day. A very merry pot luck Christmas, indeed!

There is nothing in the rule book that says you need to slave away while everyone else is catching up and toasting a round or two. In fact, there isn’t a rule book for hosting Christmas dinner! This year, get in the kitchen the day before, by all means, but on Christmas day, this is one room you can avoid with a little planning and perhaps a bit of help from your family and friends.
