Diagnosed With Falling Arches At Age Six

When I was six, We were packing to move from Buffalo N.Y. to Elizabeth N.J. All I can remember is the immense pain I was having in the soles of my feet. The pain was so bad that I could hardly walk. As soon as we moved, My Mom called for a doctors appointment to see what was wrong. I was diagnosed with falling arches. This is the main reason people need Orthotic Insoles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back in 1972, All that was available were metal shoe inserts. Let me say that they were very ugly. Also you had to find the right shoe that they would fit in and that could be a daunting task. For falling arches, They also told you to walk on the beach. That was a fun activity but I would rather play on the beach.

There were not any predisposing symptoms to having this diagnosis. It just happened one day.You should not mess around with pain in your feet.  Fallen Arches occur when the inner side of the foot collapses causing the entire sole to touch the ground. This condition often causes pain, fatigue, and swelling, frequently caused by weak tendons, aging, obesity, or injury. Treatment typically includes orthotics, exercises, and comfortable footwear.

Seems that my condition just went away. I did follow my doctors advice and recommendations. I wore my shoe inserts. I walked on the beach. I bought shoes that fit the inserts. I even went to physical therapy. I was one of the lucky ones. They caught my condition early enough where I did not need surgery, Rest and ice seemed to help a lot. Stretching and exercises also seemed to help.

I was truly very lucky in that they caught it in the early stage. I know you will be too especially when you order these orthotics.

I have been a blogger going on 16 years. I started blogging way back in 2009. My goal was to keep my readers well informed of new and upcoming products that I found which I loved. There is so much on the internet and you just can;t believe everything.. I want my readers to trust me and know that I never give a fake review.

This is the reason i want to tell you about a product that i found that is both practical and useful. When i go to church in the spring/summer months, I do not wear panty hose. i worry that my bare feet were going to ruin my shoes. Hence, i found flat socks, which are perfect for both men and women because flat socks for hey dudes and crocs are the perfect addition when you don’t want to wear bulky things on your feet. 

wow! look at all the different type colors and designs. they have something for everyone. other sites sell flat socks but they are not the same  looking at these sites the colors and designs are just not evident. i also don’t think that there are any sites that make something flat like this one does..

have you ever went anywhere, where you take off your shoes? most insoles look very plain and not very attractive.

sometimes appearance is not only only looking good. sometimes it’s what is not seem that makes you comfortable. placing pretty flat socks in your shoes can make a statement. feeling good can almost be just as good as looking good. i like to spruce it up with everything from colorful patterns to solids to even prints.

as shown in the picture above, the prints are animal prints which as a cat owner is just perfect for people like me. i do not recommend products that I do not use. if i use it and really like it, i will pass it on to my readers in a post such as this one. you owe it to yourself to try these.

As most of my readers know I used to a be a registered nurse before I became disabled. Being on your feet most of the day comes with the territory. I started to develop ankle pain and calluses on the outside of my feet. I found out the case was that I had what is called supination foot issues  or high arches which is an imbalance of the muscles of the feet.

Should it be corrected? Yes it should as it can lead to pain and tissue damage. supination is largely due to having high arches. supination insoles would solve this problem. To keep your feet from rolling outward you would need supination insoles. They are easy enough to purchase. Orthopedic insoles can be both bought already made or manually made by a podiatrist. Your high arches need to be supported. Most shoes do not provide enough support and that is why you need insoles. supination insoles as well as other insoles are very easy to get and inexpensive as well.

I also found out that these insoles will work with most walking and running shoes. The perfect shoe for supination issues would be one that is a high-quality walking or running shoe for supination that includes arch support and shock-absorbing cushion. recommended shoes for supination, which include footwear with adequate arch support, a wide toe box, and breathable mesh around the upper. If you have excess supination, it causes stress on the outer side of your foot when you walk or run. Your shoe will show uneven wear on the outside part of the sole. If you supinate, it can cause excess strain on your ankles.

I never knew my foot issues were the cause of not having enough support and all I needed was supination insoles. My Review/Thoughts~

Slippers are the items Eric and I always ask for as a Holiday Gift. I spend 24/7 in my slippers and Eric puts his on as soon as he gets home from work. So, We put a lot of wear and tear on ours.
