Church’s Chicken Coupon Booklet Fundraiser for No Kid Hungry{ends 4/23}

Reviews · March 27, 2017

PRESS RELEASE~

Church’s Chicken® Renews & Expands Partnership with No Kid Hungry

Iconic Fried Chicken Brand Looks to Raise Half a Million Dollars in 2017 to End Childhood Hunger in America

ATLANTA, GA – After successfully raising more than 3 million meals to help ensure that no child in the U.S. should have to go without a meal, Church’s Chicken® announced they will be expanding their fundraising efforts for a second year. From March 27 through April 23 of 2017, every dollar raised from booklet sales will go directly to No Kid Hungry. Each dollar will provide a meal for 10 children. This year, however, Church’s® is aiming to raise $500,000 – a benchmark the brand feels confident its team members and guests will help them achieve.

“Church’s has a 65-year reputation for being committed to the communities we serve,” said Georgia Margeson, Senior Director of Advertising at Church’s Chicken. “That commitment begins, first and foremost, with children. We’re honored to continue working alongside No Kid Hungry to support their tireless efforts.”

The cornerstone of the program, Church’s popular coupon booklet, will be sold in participating locations while supplies last for just $1. The booklet features more than $20 in savings on Church’s menu items, and 100% of the $1 donation goes to No Kid Hungry.

“We’ve got significantly more participation in 2017, which should have a huge impact on what we’re able to accomplish this year,” Margeson continued. “Last year we surpassed our goal early, and doubled it by the end of the fundraising period. This is a cause people care about deeply and we’re eager to make a real difference in the lives of the children and families who rely on No Kid Hungry’s work.”

No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget. Since the campaign’s launch, No Kid Hungry and its partners have connected kids struggling with hunger to more than 500 million meals.

To kick-off the fundraiser, Church’s headquarters is hosting a No Kid Hungry School Kit Packing Party before the Award presentation where 30 employees will create summer meal kits, which will contain items such as chalk, bubbles, jump rope, stickers, and NKH sunglasses for children. Employees will also write notes to the children based on a prompt about favorite things to do in the summer, eat in the summer, etc.

#Blogging For Beginners: 5 Key Questions To Master Your Craft

Reviews · March 27, 2017

Developing your first blog is a very exciting process for any creative individual. However, it’s imperative that you build a framework engineered for success. Otherwise, investing your life into the project is a little pointless.

As an inexperienced blogger, it’s good to know that the digital arena is very flexible. Nonetheless, you’ll still need to focus your attentions on key areas to generate the response that your hard work merits. Use these five questions to spur you on, and you won’t go far wrong.

What Is The Purpose?

It might sound a little obvious, but having a plan of action is key. Is your blog a platform to connect people together while expressing your views on a subject? Or is it something that you aim to utilize as a moneymaking venture?

Knowing what your blog sets out to achieve is key, and will aid the website creation and hosting process. Fail to prepare, and you essentially prepare to fail. Ensuring that your blog is designed to accomplish its aims will create a far greater platform for success.

Who Is It For?

The quality of your blog will ultimately be decided by its readership. Even if money isn’t on your mind, traffic levels and user responses will have a huge influence on whether you deem the project successful or not.

Finding ways to generate new visits is vital. However, mastering the art of gaining repeat readers is the true key to victory. Not only for the numbers, but also due to the fact this hardcore following can direct the blog’s evolution.

What Should It Look Like?

Imaginative and engaging content is vital for the long-term success of your blog. However, it’s important to realize that users will judge the platform from the second they open the website. Therefore, ensuring that it looks great should sit top of the agenda.

Again, choosing the right platforms is key. In today’s climate, though, you need to remember that a large percentage of your audience will access the data via their smartphone devices. With this in mind, launching the blog as an App can be an extremely useful way to stay open to all. At the very least, the site should be optimized for the smaller screens.

How Can The Platform Grow?

When first starting the blog, most creators will think solely about short-term aims. In reality, though, a successful platform will be geared towards sustainability. Given that the entire industry is growing at a rapid rate, it’s imperative that your platform evolves alongside it.

This could involve taking on extra writers, launching a sister blog, or various other tasks. Either way, allowing the site to become bigger and better over time is the only way to build long-term success.

What Equipment Do I Need?

Once the blog has been launched, you could produce content with nothing more than a laptop and internet connection. In truth, though, imagery brings it to life. Equipping yourself with a decent camera is vital. Whether you use it for photos or videos doesn’t matter. That added personality will have a telling impact.

Working online allows 24/7 communication too, especially if you have a strong social media presence. A portable battery charger, internet dongle, and phone Apps are all killer additions for your blogging platform. Embrace them, and your prospects will look better than ever.

The ‘Write Way’ To #Blog

Reviews · March 24, 2017

Is there a wrong way to blog? In a way – yes. By not committing to a regular and consistent schedule. While there is a right and wrong way to do almost anything – the wrong way to blog is to avoid it altogether. The right way to do it? Write.

Why blog? Well it can be a passion, a hobby – it can be the business you run from home or as part of the business you are already running. Blogging is content!

(source)

Content creation is a key cornerstone of any business marketing plan. Even the greatest products and services on the market can’t market themselves!

A blog and the content posted onto the blog (videos, podcasts and written content) creates interest in your brand. This interest can build into interest, or even a sale of a product. Sometimes – it is the blog that is technically the product, with visitors visiting your web page just to read your blog! Products are sold as an aside – this is called merchandise. The content created and cultivated by you might just make you some money!

What should you write about? Well, it really does depend on why your blog exists in the first place. If you want to write about technology, you’ll cover all manner of things from computing to gadgets and coding to inventions & science. Find brackets that you can fit yourself into. Some blogs might specialize and write about sports teams, or a single sports team. If it’s a personal blog, it depends on your interests. If your blog is professional, it depends on the industry that your business is based in! Companies that manufacture sports equipment will naturally blog about sports! It’s all situational.

The foundation of every blog is the internet – it has to be! The internet offers a lot of avenues for expansion, collaboration and marketing. Your blog should have social media accounts so that you can share your content across multiple fronts to increase your followers and thus your view count.

We mentioned product’s a while ago and some blogs do sell merchandise –  that means you need to be a dab hand at packaging and postage too. Even if you aren’t – running a blog online requires you to have some form of home office address to conduct your business on. Assess your needs and if you are selling, make sure you can get your products out efficiently.

Now, your writing. It needs to be authentic and truthful, no matter if you are presenting a blog in a personal or professional environment. If you’re personal and you’re laying on the constant hard sell, people will get turned off of you. If you’re not professional enough in a business environment people will turn off of you easily. Just be yourself above all and tone it up or down depending on your writing environment.

Above all – be consistent and write to a schedule. Like a radio show people will be tuning in on a consistent basis for your writing, so don’t let your followers down!

The Products That Will Keep Your Home In Order!

Reviews · March 23, 2017

Products, like money, make the world go round. There are physical solutions to any problem almost imaginable!

And that goes for looking after the home. Cleaning, organization and general maintenance are incredibly important, no matter if you are renting your house or are a homeowner yourself. Of course, some of the responsibility for maintenance might fall to your landlord if you are renting a property, but it’s good to be knowledgeable about maintenance, even if you aren’t doing it!

Let’s start off with cleaning. Cleaning is an incredibly important part of maintenance in the home, and it needs to be done on a recurring basis. While your determination and consistency is perhaps the key tool you’ll need when cleaning the home; there’s still plenty of items and products you’ll need. Vacuum cleaners, brooms, a dustpan & brush, and a mop with a bucket will help you start off. Deodorizing sprays and deodorant dust can help your floors and air stay clean; bleaches will remove tough stains and assist with cleaning your bathroom products. Anti-bacterial sprays are great if you have pets. Of course, these heavy-duty products are dangerous and need to be kept away from kids! Polish and polishing cloths help a lot as well as you can clean your mirrors and windows and keep them looking fresh! As important as the products are, you need to be determined to use them and use them often to keep your house clean.

(source)

Maintenance is a whole different ball-game. It still requires you to be super pro-active, but you’ll need a lot of things. Hammers, screwdrivers, drills and saws are good to have initially and can help you not only fix and repair issues, but improve your home! Being proactive is key with home maintenance and usually, requires you to get the products in before the problems occur. If you notice an issue in the home that you don’t have the correct tool or products for, you need to purchase them to solve the issue. To identify the correct tool, you’ll also need to do your research, but there are plenty of sources out there that will help – like the internet! Homes can have unique issues as well – colder environments might require you to buy heat tape for water pipes and houses with lots of guttering will ask that you buy a ladder so you can get up there and clean it all out. It’s all about knowing your home and the maintenance issues that it faces.

(source)

In terms of organization, the products you need the most are furniture. Wardrobes, Bookcases, stands and drawers are the key foundation of the organization in the home. However, you can get smaller items to expand the home’s organization capabilities. Magazine racks, pencil cases, holders – smaller items that hold specific items are good! Organization is an issue of home order where you can be really creative, as the other two follow stricter regimes.

(source)

All it takes is the right items and the right mindset to keep your home in good order!
